About me
Hi! My name is Anna Talalayko. I create handmade collectible pieces — art dolls, soft toys, Christmas ornaments and much more. Each one is unique, made with warmth, character and care for the smallest details.

My story
I would like to tell you a little about why I do handcraft.
It is not a question I can answer right away. Perhaps it is because my mother does handcraft too. I remember how she would gather the small pieces of fabric left over from the robes she sewed to order, and make dresses, costumes, and toys for us — and there are three of us.
Those things were beautiful, finely made, and truly one of a kind. No one could ever guess they had been made at home, by hand. We were so happy with every piece our mother gave us. Nobody else had outfits like ours.
Our home was always full of embroidered towels and napkins, and the windows were dressed with curtains our mother had sewn herself.
Perhaps that is why, for as long as I can remember, I have always been creating something too. I still remember my first tears over a little scrap of fabric that was meant to become a napkin — and simply refused to.
Today I learn something new every day and can see myself growing. But there is no limit to perfection.
I cannot imagine my life without handcraft. When I take polymer clay, silicone, or a needle and thread into my hands, I drift away from the outside world and sink into my own small, tender, and vivid world of creativity.
